Weeks 1 & 2

Slavic Full Gospel Bible School... I'm so blessed to be part of it this year.
Chillin with our teacher during lunch. A very intelligent man indeed. Week 2 topic: The Study of the Holy Spirit.
Each week, a different group prepares a presentation about a world religion. Here is Viktoria presenting the religion of  Jehovah's Witnesses. It was awesome to hear history, values and tips on witnessing to those individuals.
Last week we had a car wash.
Funny story: We caused a minor car accident. Distracted driving I guess!
This car decided to die amidst the washing. The guys had way too much fun pushing it!
Beautiful ladies. They have hearts to serve!
Cutie.
Practicing my guitar skills before we left to do some work in the city called Highways and Hedges.
My roommate and awesome friend Lesya. We call her Miss L for fun. I love that she is here, I can't stress that enough.
The mission of Highways and Hedges is to go out to the city of Columbus and preach the gospel of Christ on the streets and in the homeless shelters. We also give them food and other products for daily living. We visited about 4 different locations and spent time praying and simply talking to the different people. These two men were encouraging us and sharing their stories!
An American pastor from Potters House Church preached the gospel at this shelter and I really enjoyed hearing it!
Our class Pastor.
Danny, our fellow human. You can call him the event organizer for Bible school.
And of course there is volleyball!
All glory to God for everything!

Visitors

Jesus Tour '13 visited us this week. It was so nice to see them, and it was a let-down to have them come and go so quickly. Wow, it's been a good week. God has been changing people and it is so wonderful to see! I did not expect so much out of this Bible school. So much has been happening!! Anyway hope all is well with you humans (as the youth here says). Look at that, we feel so at home here :)

Week One of Bible School

It is hard to believe that my first week of Bible School has already come to an end! We spent the week listening to lectures about the formation of a spiritual worker- nothing new, yet always a good reminder. So much energy goes into keeping up with the school schedule. We seem to always have something to do! One thing I absolutely love are the morning prayers we have. No better way to start my day! Every day we also have a schedule to follow in reading our Bibles and it's really fun for some reason. My roommate, Lesya and I have been having FUN for sure. Such activities include: running over a raccoon, going for jogs, eating dates, skyping, calling our mothers, exercising, reading the Bible aloud, breaking curfew, getting yelled at for not eating at home, car situations, and much more. What a blessed week I have had! God bless y'all.
PS: Guess what? I was nominated to be Class Pastor. How weird! Lol I was telling my classmates that I'd rather be Vice President or First Lady, let a man do that important stuff :P.
Oh yeah... Miss you all my dear friends :) Continue praying for us.

We Run

God pursues us.
It we who run from Him.

A part of us thinks:
     He is hiding.
     He is repulsed by us.
He has turned His back on us.

It is not so.
He is after us.
Examine yourself.
Do you believe the lies?
In which direction are you running?

Pursue Him as He pursues you.

"Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you." James 4:8

It is a guarantee that you will collide in the middle.
